PUBLISHED: (un)Life is Hard

Thurston Howl Press published one of my (favorite) works I've ever written. It's part of a horror theme anthology. Here's the summary:

The excitement of the zombie-pocalypse has faded. Society has crumbled, nearly all sentient life on Earth has been turned undead, and little has been left for those still left behind.

Well, other than an excess of the mundane, to Martin's despair.

Martin and Nora, two pine marten siblings, have resettled in a cul-de-sac with other remaining, wayward folk of the apocalypse. The group is steadily rebuilding society, beginning with the return of HOA's and neighborhood BBQs. Martin always thought death would be a release from the dreary life he left behind--not eternal damnation back to it.
